The cost of the week-long workshops has been made very affordable so that anyone who wants to come can come.

COSTS
Cost of the five day workshops  (Primitive Living, Sustainable Building, The Art of Agriculture, Intuitive Healing and Medicine Making, Preservation and Fermentation) everything included $420

Included in the cost of each workshop are your meals, created with local organic food, tours, teachings and lessons from the land, and a beautiful place to tent. (tent rental or indoor dorm space w/ bed is $20 for the week). If you'd like a little more refined accommodations, ask about our neighbours B&B or other local cabins. info please contact us.

LOCATION
The workshops all take place in the Upper Ottawa Valley, either at our farm in Golden Lake or at our property in  Whitney, both of  which are accessible by bus. The distance to drive is about 1.5 hrs from Ottawa and 4.5 hrs from Toronto or Montreal.

FOOD
We're flexible, mostly ovo-lacto vegetarian food but can accommodate vegans as well as most allergies. We encourage participation in meal preparation and clean up; as we have found cooking and eating together has been an important part of the experience for participants. We find a rich balance in happens at meals, through everyone's eclectic taste and experience, nutritional information and political views, balanced by the simplicity of what's coming out of the ground.
